The ‘9 Dash Line’ is a feature found on official Chinese maps and globes. Originally published in 1935 as a line with 11 dashes it was later adjusted to nine dashes. The dashes show the maximum extend of historical Chinese claims to the South China Sea. Since 2010 the ‘9 Dash Line’ contains ten dashes.
九段線是中國官方地圖和地球儀的一個特徵。它最初發表於1935年,當時由11段斷續線組成,後來被調整為9段斷續線。這些斷續線展示了中國歷史上對南海最大的管轄範圍。自2010年以來,九段線包含了10段斷續線。
