The red areas would be under water if the sea level would rise by 15 feet (5 meters). While the sea levels are not projected to rise that much on average this century, flash floods and hurricanes can temporarily bring sea levels to such extremes.
若海平面上升15英尺（5公尺）的話，紅色的區域便會被海水淹沒。雖然根據預估，海平面在本世紀的平均上升幅度應該不會如此高，不過暴雨引起的洪水和颶風卻是有可能導致海平面暫時暴漲到如此極端的高度。
