The GDP of the United States is almost a fifth of the entire world's GDP (down from close to half just after World War II). Detailed here, with six different colored outlines, are new "countries;" the combined GDP of countries within each of these borders equaling the GDP of the United States. Winding through the new regions is "United States" in the most populous language at a given location.
