[367-3] Migration Flows, 2016
At least two million people migrate into new countries every year. Bright lines of proportional weights show total immigrant flows between 2003 and 2013, by direction and amount. Width of lines denotes amount, the thinnest being up to 250,000; the thickest lines are flows over 1 Million immigrants. Bright countries each had at least 100,000 immigrants in one of the study's ten years (2003 - 2013). 25 countries attract 80% of global immigrant flows.
[367-2] Migration Flows, 2012
At least two million people migrate into new countries every year. Bright lines of proportional weights show immigrant flow direction and amount. The brightest countries each had over 1 million immigrants total between 2000 - 2009. 25 countries attract 80% of global immigrant flows.
