[3-11] Freshwater / 淡水

The slices running north-south represent 97.4 % of the world's water which is ocean water (white),  2% is accounted for by ice caps and glaciers (dark blue), and about 0.6 % is ground water (light blue), all of which constitutes the entire fresh water reserves on earth. Lake water represents only 7 millionths of the world's water; clouds only 1 millionth, and river water 10% of a millionth.

南北走向的切片代表地球97.4％的水量，即海水（白色），另外有2％的區塊是由冰冠與冰河所組成（深藍色），以及0.6%的地下水（淺藍色），三者加總便是地球全部淡水量。湖泊佔全地球水量之七百萬分之一，雲層僅佔一百萬分之一，河水則是百萬分之一中的一成。
