In 2010, authorities seized over 3 million kilograms (3 thousand tons) of cocaine and opiates worldwide; equaling over 39 billion US dollars in street value.  Each bright dot represents 0-10 tons of drugs seized in respective countries.  Black and white lines are shown over the countries with the highest use of cocaine (white) and opiates (black); each centimeter of tape represents 100,000 users.
